Arsenal academy graduate Charlie Patino has signed for Spanish second division outfit Deportivo.
Patino progressed through the Gunners’ youth-team after he joined the club in 2015 at the age of 11, but would only go on to play two times for the Premier League side.
After productive loan spells at Blackpool and Swansea, Patino, 20, has joined Deportivo on a permanent deal and signed a four-year contract with the Segunda Division club.
Watford have brought in midfielder Pierre Dwomoh from Royal Antwerp.
Belgium youth international Dwomoh has spent the past few campaigns on loan at Braga, Oostende and Molenbeek, but will now ply his trade at Vicarage Road.
Federico Chiesa has been told in no uncertain terms he can leave Juventus this summer.
Barcelona are reportedly keen but Fabrizio Romano has just revealed some pretty big news.
He suggests Liverpool are interested in the Italy international and could make a late bid…
Eberechi Eze remains a Crystal Palace player but for exactly how long is unclear.
According to the Independent, Liverpool are expected to bid for the England international before the window closes…
There is no love lost between Brighton and Brentford off the pitch.
Still, the Bees are being linked with a shock move.
Indeed, the Irish Independent suggest Brentford consider Evan Ferguson an ideal replacement for Ivan Toney should the England international leave…
Ademola Lookman has been strongly linked with a move to PSG this summer, though Arsenal have most recently been touted as a potential landing spot.
According to reports in Italy, the forward has missed training at Atalanta amid reports of a move away…
Brentford are yet to receive any offers for Frank Onyeka, who is looking to leave the club in search of game time, writes Dom Smith.
The midfielder made just 11 Premier League starts last season, leaving the Bees for two months in January to play a key role in Nigeria’s run to the Africa Cup of Nations final.
Clubs in Spain, France and England are keeping tabs on Onyeka and considering a move before the end of the window, but Brentford are not prepared to loan him out as they were in January. They will only consider permanent transfer approaches for Onyeka this summer.
He is now understood to be keen on a move that allows him to play more regular football, but that depends on bids being made in the final five days of the window.
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has revealed goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and midfielder Naouirou Ahamada both want to leave the club.
Palace face Norwich at home in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night and Glasner said it was unlikely either player would feature.
“Sam told us he wants to leave, and so if he finds a club he can leave,” Glasner said. “And that, of course, is not the best situation to get a start.”
England international Johnstone, who missed out on Euro 2024 due to an elbow injury, has fallen behind Dean Henderson in the pecking order at Selhurst Park, while Glasner said Ahamada would find it hard to gain playing time.
“So maybe there is another option for him (Ahamada) and this is what he is looking for,” Glasner added. “And maybe this is what will happen or not.”
Chelsea are interested in a deal for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, potentially featuring Raheem Sterling going in the opposite direction.
The Blues have a wealth of attacking options already at hand but The Telegraph report on a swoop for Red Devils outcast Sancho before Friday’s transfer deadline.
It is even said that they will offer Sterling in a swap deal having made the England international available for transfer after he was discarded by coach Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea have already brought in ten players this summer and have a dozen or so players training away from the first-team in the hope of gaining moves elsewhere. But they appear to be keen on more signings and are said to be in talks over a loan deal for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.

Brighton have signed Danish midfielder Matt O’Riley from Celtic for a deal worth over £25m.
West Ham must sell before they can buy but have been hit by Nayef Aguerd turning down a loan move to an unnamed Bundesliga club.
According to The Guardian, the Moroccan’s £90,000-a-week wages have been a stumbling block to moving him on.
Clubs in the Middle East are also said to be looking at Aguerd, who is not in Julen Lopetegui’s plans.
The slow pace of these outgoings are holding up West Ham’s move for PSG midfielder Carlos Soler.
Although one good piece of news for the Hammers is that Kurt Zouma is off to Saudi team Al Orobah on a loan-to-buy deal.
