As executive vice president and managing director of Newmark’s Long Island office, Charles Tabone applies unique insights gained from successfully marketing millions of square feet of exclusive listings and providing exclusive tenant/purchaser representation to his many customers and clients.
Throughout his 45-plus-year career in commercial and industrial real estate, Tabone has consistently been involved in some of Long Island’s largest and most complex transactions. His vast client base has included Allied Building Products, Catholic Health, Clare Rose, Comtech Telecommunications, The New York Times Company and Rubies Costume Company.
Tabone has served as a guest instructor/lecturer at the Real Estate Institute at Long Island University-Post, the Long Island Board of Realtors, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, CoreNet, the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island and the Association for a Better Long Island. An active and well-respected member of the real estate community, Tabone has been recognized with dozens of awards over the years for his outstanding achievements. Recently, LIBN honored him for the Top Industrial Portfolio Sale for Suffolk in 2023. He also took home Newmark’s Top Producers Award in 2021.
Tabone is a member and past president of the New York City and Downstate Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He is also an advisory board member of CIBS-LI, where he formerly served as president and ethics committee chairman.
Tabone is a graduate of Villanova University, whose Blue White Scholarship Foundation presented him with its Loyalty Award in 2014.
