As chief executive officer of the Long Island Board of Realtors, Doreen Spagnuolo brings a wealth of experience to her leadership role. Having served as LIBOR’s in-house counsel for 15 years prior to assuming the CEO position in September 2023, Spagnuolo possesses a deep understanding of the organization’s intricacies and challenges. Her resume includes serving as a partner at Feldman, Rudy, Kirby & Farquharson, where she dedicated nine years to legal practice, and as an assistant district attorney in Queens. Spagnuolo’s educational achievements include a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. Her commitment to professional excellence is exemplified by her attainment of the RCE (Realtor association certified executive) designation. This prestigious accolade underscores her dedication, extensive experience and ambition in association management.
Spagnuolo’s dedication has earned her numerous honors. In 2025, she was named a RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker in the “Influencer” category. In 2024, she was recognized as one of LIBN’s Top 50 Women in Business and as a Herald Premier Business Woman of Long Island. She also previously received a Leadership in Law Award from LIBN for her work as general counsel for LIBOR.
As CEO, Spagnuolo leads one of the largest local realtor associations in the nation. Her unwavering commitment is evident in her dedication to providing LIBOR members with essential tools for business growth and in safeguarding the future of real property rights for all stakeholders. Under her guidance, LIBOR continues to thrive as a vital resource and advocate for real estate professionals.
