Senior Vice President
CBRE
A 17-year veteran of CBRE, Paul Leone currently serves as a senior vice president in the Melville office. Leone has become one of Long Island’s go-to industrial real estate advisors, based on his reputation as a consistent leader who possesses extensive knowledge of the New York metropolitan area industrial real estate market.
Leone personally oversees all aspects of marketing, site selection, leasing and sales of marquee properties throughout the Long Island market area. From land sale and development to lease and building sale, he guides landlords, tenants and investors through the process, providing the astute market insights and decision-driving strategy on which his clients have come to rely.
Leone counts local, national and Fortune 500 companies among his clients. Over the last few years, he has been at the forefront of the “industrial revolution” on Long Island. His transactions have included helping The Home Depot secure a long-term lease of 195,000 square feet at 344 Duffy Avenue in Hicksville. He also worked on the Brookfield Properties acquisition of 15 acres in Hicksville. Leone and his team also represented Simon Property Group on the former Cerro Wire site in Syosset, leasing the 39-acre parcel to Amazon.
LIBN presented Leone with a 40 Under Forty Award in 2018 and Top Office Lease-Suffolk County honors in 2016 for Stony Brook University Hospital’s 115,000-square-foot lease at 500 Commack Road in Commack. In 2012, he received the Rising Star Award from the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island.
Leone, who grew up in Lido Beach, is a graduate of St. John’s University.
