
Former Yankees and Mets manager Buck Showalter will be the guest speaker at the 10th annual Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner.
The dinner will be held April 28 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Binghamton. A cash bar opens at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30.

Over 22 seasons as a major-league manager, Showalter has a record of 1727-1665. He was named Manager of the Year in 1994, 2004, 2014 and 2022.
Showalter, 68, was manager of the New York Yankees from 1992 to 1995, the Arizona Diamondbacks from 1998 to 2000, the Texas Rangers from 2003 to 2006, the Baltimore Orioles from 2010 to 2018, and the New York Mets in 2022 and 2023.
Showalter-managed teams have made six postseason appearances.
The 2025 Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame inductees are Bob Bucher, Steven “Red” Chanecka, Gary W. Farneti, Karen Cornell Funk, Dave Hogan, Brenda Buglione Kirwood, Emily Mackay, Clarence “Bucky” McGill, John A. Moreau, Brad Penrith, Vickie Sax, Alesha L. Widdall, and the 1970 Triple Cities Jets football team.
