Delores A. “Dolly” Saeli
Delores A. “Dolly” Saeli, 92, of Williamsville, NY, formerly of Fredonia, NY, passed away after a long and vibrant life on Sunday March 9, 2025 with her loving family at her side at her son’s home in Akron, NY. Born on October 27, 1932 in Erie, PA , the daughter of Thomas I. Rutkowski Jr. and Sophia Nazarczyk Rurkowski.
Raised in Fredonia, Dolly attended Fredonia Schools, graduating from Fredonia High School in 1950. She was lifetime member of St. Joseph Church. Later in her life and after raising her five children she worked at Fredonia High School. An active and energetic woman, Dolly had many interests including: gardening, reading, walking, photography and cross-stitching. She was a committed supporter and volunteer at 1891 Fredonia Opera House and a longtime fan of Duke University Basketball.
She is survived by her children: of Joseph (Raianne), of Kenmore, NY, Timothy D. (Kathryn), of Scottsdale, AZ, late Jeffrey, Michael (Karen) of Akron NY and Alison (Robert) Ebel of Williamsville, NY; nine grandchildren: Victoria, Catherine and Elizabeth Saeli; Kristen, Daniel and Rachel Saeli; Jacob (Faith) and Joshua Saeli; and Samuel Ebel; daughter-in-law Jennie Saeli, of Clarence Center, NY.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved son, Jeff; a sister, Adeline “Bunny” Wright (late Norman) and infant brother, Thomas I. Rutkowski;
Relatives and friends may call at the LARSON- TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, Friday March 14, 2025 from 5-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, corner of Orchard St. and Cushing St., Fredonia on Saturday March 15, 2025 at 11 am with Msgr. Patrick Keleher the Celebrant.
