
MADISON – Kaukauna has advanced to the Division 1 state team title championship match for the fifth straight year.
The Ghosts advanced by defeating West Allis Hale 62-17 in the quarterfinals and Holmen 40-22 in the semifinals.
They will face Arrowhead, which will be in the finals for the first time since 2011.
Kaukauna is going for its fifth consecutive state team title.

HORTONVILLE – The Rockets scored 42 points in the second half to pull away for the regional semifinal win over the Polar Bears.
Neenah improves to 16-9 overall and will play at Kaukauna in the regional final Saturday. Hortonville finishes the season with a 17-8 record.
The Rockets had four players score in double figures, led by Luke Jung and Nick Schultz with 15 points each. Benjy Bell added 14 points and Roan Koeper scored 11.
Hortonville was led by Ethan Joling with 24 points and Riley Mueller with 23.
The Polar Bears had beaten Neenah twice during the regular season, winning 61-49 on Jan. 7 and 61-57 on Feb. 14.

KAUKAUNA – Keegan VanKauwenberg poured in 30 points, including eight 3-pointers, as the Ghosts built a 53-22 halftime advantage and never looked back as they posted the regional semifinal win over the Terrors.
Kaukauna (22-3) will face Neenah in Saturday’s regional final.
Caden Graff added 15 points, Andrew Jensen 13 and Jonah Roehrig 10 for the Ghosts.
Appleton West (3-23) was led in scoring by Braylon Ise and Parrion Peace with 15 points apiece, while Reid Hinkens added 12.

WITTENBERG – The Tigers scored the game’s first nine points and Wrightstown’s defense held the Chargers’ leading scorer Jett Rogowski to a season-low 13 points en route to the regional semifinal win.
Seventh-seeded Wrightstown will now face third-seeded Seymour in Saturday’s regional final.
Ethan Cyra led the Tigers with 23 points.
Also powering Wittenberg-Birnamwood were Zandyr Barke with 21 points and Oliver Fraaza with 12.
Wrightstown moves to 15-11 overall, while the Chargers finish 17-8.
