WILLMAR — Terri Wood, president and owner of Woody’s Trucking Inc. in Willmar, has been recognized by the Small Business Administration’s Minnesota District Office as the Women-Owned Small Business of the year for 2024.
Woody’s Trucking was founded in Lester Prairie and moved to Willmar in 2011 after finding success in the area. Since then, the business has expanded, adding more trucks to their fleet and purchasing a 17,600-square-foot building.
Wood took control of the business and expanded it further, including growing the fleet from a handful of trucks to 18 today.
