The price of eggs <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/category/fox-news-california" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in California</a> has reached nearly $9 per dozen in some areas.<br>The highest price recorded was in January 2023, when the <a href="https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/egg-prices-california-reach-9-per-dozen-some-areas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">average price of a dozen large eggs</a> was $4.82.
