Dr. Sean McNally, a board-certified plastic surgeon, has exclusively shared details with Daily Express US regarding Carrie Underwood’s changing appearance.
The expert, who recently detailed Melania Trump’s ‘snatched’ appearance, shared insight on what might be behind the star’s “changing face,” as her fans have commented.
Dr. McNally explained: “First, it’s important to note she had an accident in 2017,” referring to the country singer’s fall that required reconstructive surgery.
The incident left the incoming American Idol judge with a scar on her upper lip, stemming from her left nostril, after needing “40-50 stitches” to repair the damage.
Recently, Underwood has faced backlash about her appearance, particularly after performing at Donald Trump’s second inauguration on January 20. The singer was also caught refusing to shake the hand of Kamala Harris during her visit. However, Dr. McNally explained that he doesn’t see signs of any major cosmetic surgery.
He said: “Looking at before and after photos, I don’t see any concrete evidence of surgical intervention other than her stated reconstructive procedure.”
“She looks dramatically different around the eyes and lips, but this could be chalked up to simple lip filler and improved makeup.”
