BELOIT – Mason Cook, a former director of a business accelerator program at Irontek in Beloit, announced that he’s launching a venture capital fund thanks to a $2.4 million investment from Wisconsin’s Badger Fund of Funds.
Mastercraft Ventures is the sixth venture capital fund to have the Badger Fund as its lead investor and the first in Rock County, according to a news release from Mastercraft. Badger Fund of Funds has invested $25 million into VC funds in Madison, Milwaukee, Neenah and LaCrosse.
