Tevin Wetzel scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Bengals to victory on Tuesday night in Missoula.
The Helena High boys basketball team upped their conference record to 3-0 on Tuesday evening with a 65-58 road win at Missoula Sentinel.
It was a back and forth game with the Bengals leading 17-11 after the opening quarter but the Spartans storming back to to a 31-27 advantage into halftime.
Sentinel held a 7 point lead going into the fourth quarter but the Bengals dominated the final frame, outscoring Sentinel 23-9 in the fourth quarter to record the victory.
Tevin Wetzel tallied a game high 27 points to lead Helena High, while Lincoln Rogers paced Sentinel with 23 points.
Helena High (6-1, 3-0) will be back in action this Thursday, January 16 hosting Missoula Hellgate.
Sentinel (3-3, 1-1) will have their next game on the road Thursday, January 16 at Helena Capital.
