Carrol C. Kinney
Laona –Carrol Charmaine (Dubois) Kinney, 75, of Laona, passed away on January 12, 2025. Carrol was born on October 11, 1949, in her home, where she resided for 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Jerome and Sophia Dubois.
Carrol was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 1967. She was employed at Brooks Memorial Hospital as an LPN for 43 years. She enjoyed many things in her life, including Laona happy hour with friends, motorcycle rides with her husband, sitting on the porch, reading, and vacationing in St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, and Lititz, PA.
Carrol is survived by her husband of 53 years, James H. Kinney; her son, Jerry (Andrea) Kinney; two grandsons, Andrew and Aidan.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Joseph, and sister, Rose. Carrol is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home; 736 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY. Interment will be held in Laona Cemetery in private.
