WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library is now open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in its temporary location, 1106 Third Ave., Worthington. The library is closed Saturdays and Sundays. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Holiday closure: The libraries will be closed Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Please note: The Nobles County Libraries (Adrian and Worthington) are not accepting donations of items until further notice. Please do not leave donations outside of the building or put them in the book drops.
The Winter Reading Program has begun and ends March 31. Stop in at either the Worthington or Adrian Branch library to sign up and get your punch card. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
Read twelve books (or audio books/e-books) and return your punch card to the library to choose your prize. After you’ve turned in your completed card(s), please fill out a raffle ticket for the grand prize drawing.
Entrance: 1106 Third Ave. Please use the entrance on the south side of the Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council building, the door closest to 11th Street.
The Book Drop: Both book drops at the original library building (407 12th St.) are now closed. The outside book drop is now at our new location (1106 Third Ave.) at the back of the building). Please return all library items to the outside book drop (open 24/7) or inside the building during business hours.
Friends of the Library Book Club: 6 p.m. Jan. 27, at the Elk’s Lodge, 1105 Second Ave., Worthington. We will be discussing the book “Virgil Wander” by Leif Enger. All are welcome!

Wednesday: Story Time (toddlers-preschoolers), 10 to 11 a.m.; Just Gurlz (girls grades 5-9), 3:15 to 5 p.m.
Thursday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Art Club: Join us at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Ecumen Meadows, 1801 College Way, south building, second floor in the Activity Room. The theme for this month is “circles.” There is no cost and all are welcome!
