Halle Berry is jumping in to help those who have lost everything in the horrific Pacific Palisades fires, and donating her "entire closet" to those in need.
On Instagram, she shared a video outside of COOP, a small LA-based business that sells home goods, and revealed that she is donating clothes from her own closet in order to help, in initiative led by Sharon Stone. On her own Instagram, Stone shared that anyone can come down for items including clothing, blankets, gift cards, etc., and they are taking donations.
In Berry’s video, she explained, "I’m from Meadville, Pennsylvania, and a famous quote from Margaret Meade says never forget that a group of thoughtful committed citizens can make a difference. We’re at the COOP… collecting gently used clothing for kids, men, women, children — people that have been displaced and affected by the fire." Halle added, "We have beautiful cashmere sweaters, jeans, new socks, shoes, clothes, blankets. You can come and shop. You can also donate."
Halle captioned the video, "I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP! If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same. This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you Lady."
So many people have lost their homes due to the Pacific Palisades fires, including celebrities like Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Eugene Levy, James Woods, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Sandra Lee, Ricki Lake and more.
