Glasspiegel further strengthens the Tuned In media franchise at FOS
NEW YORK — Front Office Sports, the leading multiplatform media and news organization covering the business of sports, today announced Ryan Glasspiegel will join the newsroom as a media and entertainment reporter working on the organization’s signature sports media vertical Tuned In.
Glasspiegel joins FOS after a three-year tenure at the New York Post, where he broke numerous stories and interviewed some of the most influential athletes and executives in the sports landscape. At the Post, Ryan frequently covered the biggest off-the-field stories about sports and media stars.
“2024 was a year of immense growth for Front Office Sports, and adding Ryan to the team positions us well to continue that trend into 2025,” said Adam White, CEO and founder of Front Office Sports. “The biggest storylines around the business of sports are centered on the rapidly evolving media landscape, and any time we can add someone to the team with the kind of talent and Rolodex Ryan has, it is an instant boost to our coverage.”
Working alongside Front Office Sports senior writer Michael McCarthy on the Tuned In vertical, Glasspiegel will regularly report on the media industry and contribute to FOS’s multiplatform content, including newsletters, daily shows, and live events.
“Ryan is one of the top news-breakers and storytellers in sports media and entertainment, and we are very excited to have him join the team,” said Dan Roberts, Editor-in-Chief of Front Office Sports. “He is going to be a key player in driving the expansion of our Tuned In franchise and helping us continue to own this beat that readers love so much.”
Prior to joining the New York Post, Ryan worked at Sports Illustrated, The Big Lead, and OutKick. He studied finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“Front Office Sports is the preeminent platform covering the business of sports, and I am beyond thrilled to be joining the organization,” said Glasspiegel. “I am grateful for my time at the New York Post and now I look forward to teaming with Mike McCarthy at FOS while continuing to produce comprehensive coverage that takes readers behind the scenes of the biggest stories in the media landscape.”
Ryan will start at Front Office Sports on Jan. 13.
