There’s a new league in town. League One Volleyball is ready to make its debut when Atlanta faces Salt Lake to kick off in 2025 season.
This year, some of the best players in the world will take the court for their first professional game on U.S. soil. That includes 2024 Olympic silver medalists Kelsey Cook, Jordyn Poulter and Haleigh Washington. Additionally, rookies Sophie Fischer, Onye Ofoegbu and Rachel Fairbanks will make their pro debuts fresh off collegiate careers.
The matchup kicks off 14 weeks of LOVB, which will see all six clubs match up a handful of times before the finals in Louisville. Until then, teams must start somewhere. For Atlanta and Salt Lake, it’s at the Gateway Center Arena on Jan. 8.
