It’s the texting scandal that’s shaken up Beverly Hills. Did Kyle break girl code?
Kyle Richards addressed the text messages she sent to PK Kemsley. The shocking revelation was made during Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Though she’s not speaking with Dorit, she still communicates with her estranged husband.
This season, it was revealed that Kyle reached out to PK after the news of his separation from Dorit. Kyle and Dorit haven’t been on friendly terms, which shocked and confused Dorit. She declared that she wouldn’t have done the same to Kyle. In fact, Kyle would’ve been upset if Dorit and Mauricio Umansky had secretly texted behind her back. On Wednesday’s episode of RHOBH, Dorit brought up the texting scandal to Kyle. They argued during their night out at The Viper Room. Dorit wanted to know why Kyle contacted him and what they talked about. Kyle dodged the questions. She said that she only received “memes” from PK. Dorit didn’t believe her. She felt that something shady was going on.
Dorit feels that Kyle is breaking the “girl code.” Sure, the two aren’t close friends anymore. However, Dorit feels that Kyle disrespected their relationship by interacting with her estranged husband. On the RHOBH After Show, Kyle shared her thoughts on that matter with her co-star Erika Jayne.
“I completely understand where someone would think it’s breaking girl code. Absolutely,” Kyle agreed. She maintained that she’s a “girls’ girl.” She doesn’t see PK any other way than “one of the girls.” Erika called him a “petty teenage girl.” She believes PK wanted Dorit to know he’s good friends with Kyle.
Dorit couldn’t believe Kyle felt comfortable enough to reach out to PK. Newcomer Bozoma Saint John revealed that she’s on “Team Dorit.” The two have grown close this season, and Dorit felt good to have someone on her side. Kyle still argued that PK is “one of the girls” and is Mauricio’s best friend.
Erika asked Kyle who she would side with in the end. Kyle admitted that she’s always on the girls’ side. However, Bozoma feels that if someone is okay with texting someone else’s husband, they’re shady. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comment section.
