FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Grab your pickleball paddles and ice skates! You’re invited to the Fargo Parks Sports Center’s open house.
Community leaders will unveil exciting new spaces in Phase II of the project. That includes six pickleball courts, an indoor playground, six party rooms, the IcePlex and four new basketball courts.
It’s all happening from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16.
You can enjoy open play on three of the pickleball courts and the playground. The pros at Fargo-Moorhead Pickleball will be there to help sharpen skills.
You can also be one of the first to skate on the new rinks. Open Skate runs from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Staff from Sanford Sports Academy and Sanford Sports Performance will also be available to answer questions about the programs and services they offer at the Fargo Parks Sports Center.
There will also be giveaways and light refreshments for the whole crew. The Fargo Parks Sports Center Open House is free and open to the entire community.
The complex is located at 6100 38th St. S. in Fargo.
