MEQUON — Cedarburg’s Lakeside Cookie Company will soon be bringing its assortment of cookies and sweet treats to the Mequon Public Market.
Owners Sue and Bob Felder, who opened their current bakery along Washington Avenue in 2020, hope to move into their second location by May 1.
“We are excited to add Lakeside Cookie Company to the Mequon Public Market family,” Mequon Public Market Manager Brittany Mattson said about the new addition, which will join a variety of other vendors including Good City Brewing, Aloha Poke, Boca Rica Mexican, Screaming Tuna Sushi, Purple Door Ice Cream, Santorini Grill, and most recently Mad Rush Pizza — a pizza pop-up located in former Happy Dough Lucky space that has been open for almost a month.
The Felders will still maintain their current storefront in Cedarburg. In addition to its custom cookies and take-and-bake dough, the cookie shop also provides decorating classes.

Established in 2019 at 6300 W. Mequon Road, the Mequon Public Market is gearing up to celebrate its 5th anniversary in June, a milestone that Mattson and her team couldn’t be more appreciative of.
“We feel very fortunate and thankful for our vendors and the community support,” Mattson added.
The market also features live music, as well as weekly community Rotary meetings, private event rentals, classes, job/recruiting events, and art and cooking classes.
