Television star Danielle Colby’s future at History Channel is finally revealed.
Colby a fan favorite on American Pickers, which has contributed tremendously to her impressive net worth. As the show gets ready to hit the road again, rumors have been circulating questioning if she will be returning.
Their suspicions first started when she reposted an image of a sinking ship to her Instagram story and many believed this was referring to her involvement on the series.
Worries continued once she announced that she was working on another project for a long time.
“That’s right folks after 14 years of digging in the dirt with my guys, I’m finally ready to talk,” she wrote. “I’m excited to be compiling this information for my upcoming podcast with my manager friend @haley.atkin. That’s right, we are finally turning Road dog diaries into a podcast!”
The final straw was Colby’s recent alarming updates that have left her in a “cocoon state” since revealing she is dealing with health issues in her family. She took to Instagram a few weeks ago to share the news.
“Unfortunately, we have had some very serious health issues happening within my family. I really don’t want to get too much in detail because it’s not my health I’m speaking of. I’m OK, I’m fine, but my family needs me right now,” she said.
Colby has decided that “for the foreseeable future, I will not be traveling for performances” so she can focus on “being here for my family.”

“I’ll only be traveling for American Pickers,” she declared.
If that was not enough, Colby is still repping the show through her Instagram bio and handle, which is also a clear sign that her involvement on the show has not changed.
The reality star is continuing to promote the show and based on that and the lack of an official announcement from Colby or the network, it is safe to assume she is still a part of the beloved cast.
