Weeks before his DWI arrest, Justin Timberlake sold his 127-acre Tennessee property for $8 million.
Justin Timberlake has officially parted ways with a sprawling piece of Tennessee real estate. The singer, 43, sold his 127-acre plot of land in Franklin, Tenn. for $8 million. The property, located less than half a mile from the rural village of Leipers Fork and approximately 45 minutes outside of Nashville, boasts stunning views of Leipers Creek Valley.
It also includes 50 acres of wildlife food plots and pastures, a fishing pond, spring creeks, and trails.
The listing was held by Tom Sullivan of Covey Rise Properties. Timberlake, who is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, finalised the sale on May 30, according to property records. The Memphis native had purchased the land in 2015 from local philanthropist and preservationist Aubrey Preston.
In a 2016 interview with The Tennessean, Preston mentioned that he and Timberlake shared a mutual admiration for their home state. “Both of us share that love of Tennessee and enjoyed how we grew up, on land,” Preston said. “We want to do our part to save that for future generations, and our kids. That’s how we got to know each other.”

The sale of the property came just weeks before Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor for allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was pulled over by a Sag Harbor police officer while driving to a friend’s house from the American Hotel. Timberlake was charged with one count of DWI and received two citations—one for running a stop sign and one for failure to keep in lane.
Despite the public frenzy caused by the arrest, a source told People that Timberlake and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, are not overly concerned. “They’ve moved on from the arrest. They have faith in their legal team and continue to focus on work and their family instead,” the insider told the publication.
