Is it too late for the Cowboys to turn their season around?
Dallas is 3-5, stuck in a two-game losing streak and injuries have ravaged the roster on both sides heading into an NFC East matchup with rival Philadelphia. This would seem like a logical time for the Eagles to put away the Cowboys in the division and, perhaps, playoff race.
Saquon Barkley (925 yards, 6 TDs) is working on a streak of three straight 100-yard games and inching toward 1,000 yards for the season. The Cowboys rank 31st in the NFL in rushing offense at 82 yards per game. Dak Prescott (hamstring), CeeDee Lamb (shoulder), and Micah Parsons (ankle) are among a list of Dallas stars nursing injuries.
NFL HQ: Live NFL scores | Updated NFL standings | Full NFL schedule
One look at the schedule, which features Houston, Cincinnati, and Tampa Bay outside the division, and a rematch with Philadelphia and two games with Washington inside the division suggests this could be the turning point either way for Mike McCarthy.
Dallas has won six straight home meetings against the Eagles. Will they somehow make it seven in a row when we least expect it?
Each week, we will pick NFL matchups straight up and against the spread. A look at our track record this season:
Here are our picks for Week 10:
Thursday, 8:15 p.m., Amazon Prime
The Bengals can get back to .500. The Ravens can create a three-game gap in the standings between the two teams. The Week 5 matchup, a 41-38 classic, will be a little more buttoned up this time, but Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson will put on a show. Trey Hendrickson did not have a sack in the first meeting. Can he disrupt the Ravens’ offense, which leads the AFC with 31.4 points per game? That is the magic number for the winner here.
Pick: Ravens 32, Bengals 28

Sunday, 9:30 a.m., NFL Network
The Panthers picked up their second victory in Week 9, and Bryce Young had some run support from Chuba Hubbard, who had 72 yards and two TDs. The Giants have been brutal through a four-game losing streak, but the running game has picked up in the past two weeks. Daniel Jones has more to work with in the passing game with Malik Nabers. Carolina is 1-4 ATS as an underdog of six points or less.
Pick: Giants 22, Panthers 17
WEEK 10 FANTASY FOOTBALL RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/ST | Kickers
Sunday, 1 p.m., Fox
The Bears are trying to stop a two-game skid, and the defense has had problems against the run in that stretch (190.5 yards per game). The matchup between rookie quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Drake Maye will hinge on turnovers. The Bears are 3-0 S/U at home, and this is a chance to build up some momentum ahead of a matchup with Green Bay in Week 11.
Pick: Bears 21, Patriots 16

The Bills are on a four-game winning streak, and Josh Allen continues to make his MVP case with 17 TDs and two interceptions. The Colts are last in the NFL with a run defense that allows 149.8 yards per game and a lingering quarterback question with Joe Flacco and Anthony Richardson. Buffalo is 3-1 S/U and 3-1 ATS on the road this season. They will get even more separation in the AFC East race here.
Pick: Bills 30, Colts 20
MORE: Shane Steichen commits to Joe Flacco as starting QB despite lifeless outing vs. Vikings
Sunday, 1 p.m., CBS
The Chiefs are playing in the early window for the first time this season. Will that be an adjustment for Patrick Mahomes and the offense? Denver got a reality check at Baltimore, but the Broncos are 3-2 S/U on the road this season. The Chiefs have won the past eight home meetings in this series. Kansas City averaged just 14 points in two meetings with Denver this season. That is something for Andy Reid to harp on.
Pick: Chiefs 27, Broncos 17

Sunday, 1 p.m., Fox
The Saints fired Dennis Allen, and Darren Rizzi will be the interim coach. Derek Carr struggled in his first start back against the Panthers, and the Saints are catching a hot Atlanta offense. Kirk Cousins is 42-of-53 (79.2 percent) for an average of 249 yards with seven TDs and no interceptions the past two weeks. There is a risk for the Saints playing up with their coach out, but the Falcons are 3-0 S/U on the road this season.
Pick: Falcons 31, Saints 27

Sunday, 1 p.m., Fox
The 49ers needed the bye week, and they are catching Tampa Bay on a short week. San Francisco has rushed for more than 200 yards in two of its past three games, and that will be the best way to keep Baker Mayfield off the field. The Buccaneers are 2-3 S/U at home this season, and this is another hit in that tough schedule. Brock Purdy has a middling line on the road that includes a 59.6-percent completion percentage, three TDs, and six interceptions. This feels like a shootout knowing the past five Tampa Bay games have hit the OVER.
Pick: 49ers 32, Buccaneers 29
MORE: Christian McCaffrey injury update
Sunday, 1 p.m., CBS
The Commanders continue to win, but this is the type of prove-it game that would give Jayden Daniels even more cred in the NFL MVP race. Pittsburgh allows 14.9 points per game, and the Steelers will have wrinkles coming out of the bye week with Russell Wilson. Najee Harris is having his best year with the Steelers, and if he can get to 100 yards for a fourth straight game, the Steelers will pull this upset.
Pick: Steelers 24, Commanders 20
Sunday, 1 p.m., CBS
The Vikings stopped a two-game losing streak in Week 10, and Sam Darnold will look to continue his hot streak. He averages 263 yards with six TDs and three interceptions in his past three games. He might make a mistake or two on the road against the Jaguars, but this team continues to make too many mistakes. Jacksonville is 1-4 S/U when they have at least two turnovers, and Minnesota should be able to force a few miscues on the road.
Pick: Vikings 28, Jaguars 21

Sunday, 4:05 p.m., CBS
Jim Harbaugh is winning with a familiar formula in Los Angeles. The Chargers are allowing a league-low 12.6 points per game, and they have a plus-9 turnover ratio. Both teams stop the run well, so it comes down to the quarterbacks. Justin Herbert has the lowest interception percentage in the league at 0.4 percent. We’ll trust the Chargers, who are 5-1 ATS as a favorite.
Pick: Chargers 27, Titans 13
Sunday, 4:25 p.m., CBS
Are the Cowboys done? We will find out here against Philadelphia. The Eagles look like the best bet to challenge Detroit in the NFC, thanks to a punishing running game that averages 200-plus yards in three of the past four games. It’s going to get worse before it gets better for the banged-up Cowboys, who will be without Dak Prescott (hamstring) and possibly CeeDee Lamb (shoulder). The Eagles are 3-1 ATS on the road this season.
Pick: Eagles 28, Cowboys 18

The Cardinals have created some momentum with three straight wins, and the defense has allowed 17 points per game in that stretch. Kyler Murray has been both efficient in the passing game (11 TDs, 3 INTs) and has picked his spots effectively in the running game with 350 yards on 8.1 yards per carry. The Jets have to show they can win on the road with Aaron Rodgers here, and that will be the case in a tough one. Enjoy the highlight-reel catches from Marvin Harrison Jr. and Garrett Wilson, former teammates at Ohio State.
Pick: Jets 19, Cardinals 18

Sunday, 8:20 p.m., NBC Peacock
The Lions have committed two turnovers through a six-game win streak, and they have multiple ways to win with the combination of Jared Goff, who has a league-best 74.9-percent completion percentage, and the running game behind David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. The defense has given up 400-plus yards the past two weeks, which means it could be a shootout if C.J. Stroud avoids mistakes and Joe Mixon continues his streak of 100-yard games, which is at four. The Texans are 4-0 S/U at home this season, but this Lions’ team is different.
Pick: Lions 31, Texans 20

The Dolphins have lost back-to-back heartbreakers since Tua Tagovailoa returned. However, Tagovailoa hasn’t thrown an interception and has taken just two sacks. The Rams are on a three-game win streak, and they forced three or more turnovers in two of those games. Miami will be a popular upset pick, but the Rams are 3-1 S/U at home.
Pick: Rams 28, Dolphins 26
