The popular low – impact sport has a new home in Genesee County.
FLUSHING, Mich. (WJRT) – It’s official: there’s a new place for you to play pickleball in Genesee County.
Saturday ServPro Sports Complex welcomed guests for the grand opening of its brand-new pickleball arena.
There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon Saturday.
Many events were happening all day, such as open play, free lessons, a pro exhibition, mini-tournaments, and skill competitions.
“We offer everything here so we have all the programming to learn to play,” said ServPro pickleball Director Brandon Contratto. “We have events we’re hosting Christmas parties and holiday parties coming up but we have demos, paddles available, ball machines everything like that so whether somebody trying to learn the game themselves or trying to pick it up for the first time, a family of 8 doesn’t it matter we can help accommodate. We have everything for you to play for your first time.”
ServePro Sports Complex is at 1160 Elms Road in Flushing.
