In a recent sports section under the headline “Spirits Lifted,” there was a statement that said, “Saints give morbid New Orleans sports scene a shot of joy.”
Did your sports editor and writers forget about Tulane sports? The football team had an excellent season. Also, the cross-country track team, which is never mentioned, had a great season, with the men’s team winning the AAC championship and both men and women earning individual titles at the meet.
Tulane sports deserve better coverage in the paper.
