
The stage at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York hosted some of the most forward-thinking tech minds advancing the sports industry as the third annual Sports Business Awards: Tech were presented on March 4.
Nine awards were presented, including a double win for Lap of Legends, which took home the Best in AI honor as well as Sports Technology of the Year.
The awards event capped off a six-month process that began with a nomination window and moved through multiple rounds of in-house judging before landing with award-specific committees of external judges to ultimately select the winners.
Also recognized at the awards event were representatives from SBJ’s 10 Most Innovative Sports Tech Companies.
