Of course, the tournament kicks off with the Honorary Starters as Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson hit tee shots at 10:10 a.m. ET. This was pushed back after Augusta National <a href="https://www.masters.com/en_US/news/articles/2024-04-10/2024-04-10_weather_alert_thursday_status_updates.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">announced</a> Thursday morning that Round 1 of the 2024 Masters will begin at 10:30 a.m. due to weather. <br><span class="link"><a href="https://www.cbssports.com/golf/news/2024-masters-weather-forecast-thursday-thunderstorms-strong-breezes-lead-into-ideal-weekend-in-augusta/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Heavy rain and thunderstorms were forecasted</a></span> through noon, but it appears the worst of it skirted past Augusta National and most players should have the chance to complete their first rounds on Thursday.<br>Erik van Rooyen and Jake Knapp are set to kick off the competition at 10:30 a.m. with the Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa and Tommy Fleetwood bringing up the rear six hours later at 4:30 p.m..
