LEXINGTON, K.Y. (FOX Carolina) – WATCH: Palmetto Sports Reporter Carmine Gemei speaks 1-on-1 with Wofford men’s basketball stars Dillon Bailey, Justin Bailey, Jackson Sivills and Corey Tripp before the 15-seed Terriers play 2-seed Tennessee in their first NCAA Tournament game in six years.
Wofford earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after taking down Furman 92-85 in the SoCon Championship March 10th. The Terriers finished with a 19-15 overall record and won 10 games in conference action. Tennessee was seeded No. 2 after going 27-7 overall and losing in the SEC Championship.
Following a thirty-minute period of interviews with media on Wednesday, the Terriers practiced on the floor of Rupp Arena for the NCAA-allowed 40 minutes. The team took part in a second walk-through prior to arriving at Rupp Arena Wednesday morning.
